instant stand-in.

It's a wonderful Sunday afternoon and I'm sitting here thinking to myself.

I NEED AN INSTANT STAND-IN.

You know, someone who can do my Plato paper and help me with the long list of things I need to do. Or perhaps just to take on all my worries. It's official- mark me present in the club for worriers. How did this happen? My worries are taking over! But I had a nice lesson today that really helps (Philippians 4:6-13).

Regardless of my consuming life worries, everything is GOOD! Let me paint a picture. Schooling: adequate*. Work: adequate. Family life: adequate. Social-life: slightly less than adequate. (??)
*adequate=top notch.
I may not have time for everything I want to do, but I've been a part of some great conversations, moments, and events.

Such as:
-The twins turned three October 24th!

-I got 100% on my math TEST!
-I had a wonderful run-in with one of my best friends from high school.
-I also got to spend the afternoon with one of my other best friends Holly.
-I went to a Jazz concert.
-I listened to great music.
-I cried.
-I laughed.
-I learned a bunch of lessons.
-I went shopping.
& so much more.

Life is beautiful and happy.

Happy Sunday and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

scatterbrained update.

After watching [a number I won't even mention] episodes of The Big Bang Theory, I couldn't resist my craving to eat some Thai food. So I did.
Back to school & the busy life. I missed it.
My hatred towards this semester has semi-ceased to exist. I'm back baby. Bring it 8-ish weeks, I dare you.
If I go one day without reading my scriptures, my day isn't nearly as good.
I think my parents have way too much fun with this app, but I'm so happy they do because it makes me smile when I get one or two of these everyday in my email. & yes family, I miss you. Come home.

The new iPhone update is a treasure.
As is Bossypants by Tina Fey.
Want a fun night out with friends or whatever? Go to PPT
Aubrey & I went on a lunch date to Hickory Kist Deli. mmm.
100% on math quiz.
Most importantly.. I realized what I thought to be the time where my friends were all either studying abroad or serving their wonderful two years as a missionary while I stayed here & missed them, is actually an important time in my life to grow & learn all the lessons I need to learn [i.e. patience].
Stupendous life? Check.
Bon nuit!

*Side note: I really am busy, but somehow I just make time for these random things.

Fall Break. [aka insert: BOREDOM here.]

Due to the fact that I almost went to Hawaii or that I should have chosen to go to Chicago, I am now left with the second half of my fall break to wallow in boredom as I sit in my unoccupied house waiting for my sister to get home at 9 o'clock tonight.

I've found myself doing 5 things today:
-Waking up at 4:30am to take my family to the airport.
-Sleeping.
-Blogging.
-Eating.
&
-Watching The Big Bang Theory .

Don't I have better things to do? Perhaps.
& I'll probably cave and go find something to do.
Who knows.

Today, I keep telling myself to go out & be that fun college student that I know is in there.
Instead, I find myself thinking about how I won't see this beautiful pair for 10 days. [10 days, 10 hours, 8 minutes, who knows how many seconds. To be almost exact.]

It's fine. I just miss my family, that's all. Good news: they will be home in only 10 days, right?
This break has been great & I am excited to have some more fun.

Shout out to my lovely friend Cortney for getting married yesterday. You looked beautiful & so happy! I love you.

[Facebook creeping at its finest.]

Oh did I also mention that as of this week my little sister is now 13? I love you Aubs, enjoy your iPad. (Wait what??)

If you ever have the chance to go to a General Conference session
GO

You will not regret it, I promise.
It's incredible.
Simple as that.
